My family and I just had the most unforgettable time at Smugglers’ Notch in Vermont. As an active duty U.S. Marine currently on Recruiting Duty, the rumors are true—this duty is intense, and the days at the office can feel endless. We were truly in need of some quality time together.

Since moving across the country and away from all of our family, my wife has had to step back from work to stay home with the kids, which has been a huge adjustment for all of us. This getaway was exactly what we needed.
