My daughter and I were blessed with the chance to stay at a beautiful resort for her birthday and visit Florida — and Disney World — for the very first time. It was truly magical and a memory we will never forget. This trip came at one of the hardest times in my life, right after I had been furloughed. It lifted me out of a dark mental space and gave my daughter and me moments of joy and connection we deeply needed.
