We stayed at the Fox River Resort in Sheridan, Illinois. Overall, we had a pretty good time! The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, which set a great tone for the rest of the stay.
The resort itself was clean and comfortable, offering a relaxing atmosphere. There isn’t a lot to do in the immediate area, so future visitors should come prepared with their own entertainment or plan A lot of activities inside because there’s no restaurants other than the one on the resort.
We loved the waterpark and the prices weren’t too bad. Chicago isn’t too far away either.
