Almost all of my trips during the military are cramp-packed, flying from Hawaii to three or four different states on the mainland to visit and catch up with friends and family I haven’t seen in years. This time I got to take an actual vacation with my husband to Vegas for his birthday and just do what we wanted to do, making it a truly special experience.
